I’m a storyteller, and always have been.

I love people, and I adore a good yarn, so of course I revel in telling riveting stories about compelling people. It’s the small details of everyday life that fascinate me most; so whether you’re an art student in Paris, a cancer researcher in Houston, a jewelry designer in Tokyo, or whoever, I really want to tell your story.

I bought my first camera in a pawnshop in downtown Toronto on a whim. Who knew that photography would be my magic carpet ride into a breathtaking life of constant adventure and creativity? I sure didn’t… But that’s exactly what’s happened, as I’ve enjoyed the good fortune of working with countless astonishing people from all walks of life, in over 140 countries, and in all 50 states. The entire planet has become my studio.

I live between California and New York with Lisa, my amazing wife and studio manager, who’s ever-evolving epic tale has kept me rapt for decades. And, also our two Maine Coon cats, Henry and Lion.
